The provider is certainly knowledgable, however, bedside manner is curt; which isn't bad or good, it's simply his personality. I've been with him as a provider ever since I transitioned out of pediatrics; you just have to know how to handle him. I wouldn't not recommend him to others, I would pick and choose who I'd recommend him to. I sometimes am hesitant to make an appointment for concerns that aren't major, just because I know it'll take a certain amount of energy to hold my own and advocate for myself. He is friendly, in his own face pace way. The quickness seems to have escalated with the pandemic, which is understandable. I feel like he provides me with good care, yet sometimes I wish he'd slow down and truly listen to me as a person; understand my concerns and discuss/consider options with me, instead of for me, or overpowering the situation. At times it doesn't feel like a discussion. I continue to see him because he knows my history well, he is knowledgeable and he does have moments of being empathetic and personable.
