Excellent experience with Dr. Miller.

The visit was quick didn't seem like there was a concern. Cold manner from the doctor. At one point asked if I check on my kid during the night. She wakes up a lot so I check on her twice but really limit it to leaving her sleep as long as possible but the tone by the doctor was off putting.

I would recommend this office but I would suggest a different provider. Dr Miller has no bedside manner, she always seemed annoyed when we spoke and spoke to me as if I should have known the answers to the questions I was asking.

Good visitsaw provider on referral from PCP

Dr. Miller moved through our appointment quickly, which was fine. We left with a plan and clear next steps. I wouldn't recommend her because I didn't find her to be warm and welcoming. She never introduced herself. She was short when we were trying to find the right medical terms to discuss some family history. I felt awkward like we were nuisances, and I was worried my son would feel uncomfortable with her, but thankfully, he didn't seem to mind. [...]

My experience was great-

Dr. Miller has been my ENT for along time. She knows my history and treats each of my sinus infections with scoping my sinuses, culturing a sample and prescribing the right medicine for the strain the culture treats. I really appreciate this procedure because I don't want to be on the incorrect antibiotics and find I need a different one.

I was amazed at how thorough the Dr was and that I not only got a hearing exam, but also treatment for my fluid in my ear, all within this visit. Amazing service from start to finish.

1. The Provider only wanted to deal with one of my concerns even though they all may be related. 2. While waiting in the examination room the RA provided me with another questionnaire to complete prior to seeing the Care Provider named earlier in this survey. The questionnaire asked about conditions, symptoms & one more category. At one point during the exam the Care Provider In a belligerent tone asked, "You've had all of these symptoms in the last two weeks!?" "No," I responded, "Not in the last two weeks but over time since the initial concern developed." (Let's recall at this point, her office did not schedule the appointment until 3 months after contact.) Her response, "The form says to fill It out with the last two weeks in mind." I reached for the form with the intent of revising my responses and re-read the instructions to myself and then I read them out loud to her pointing out it did not state to limit responses to the last two weeks. At which time she said, "Well, when I give to patients I always tell them to "Fill it out with the last two weeks in mind. You don't need to change your answers now." A. She did not give me the form to fill out, the RA did B. The RA did not provide any such instructions (she was in the room during the exam & this conversation and did not contradict this fact - because it would have been untruthful if she did.)C. As previously stated, it was not in the printed instructions on the form to limit responses to the previous two weeks. After this exchange the Care Provider's attitude immediately shifted to a more open minded and positive point of interaction.

Dr. Miller is abrasive. This was my second time seeing her and both times were the same. It's like she's annoyed. She also doesn't hear what I'm saying. I tell her of what other doctors have told me and she blows it off. [...] All around one of the worst doctors I've ever seen in over 25 years. Not only in advice but in bedside manner.
Sep 24, 2022
I would prefer if this provider (Dr. Miller) would have a better 'bedside manner' and show a bit of empathy and compassion. Everything discussed with her seemed to be too 'cut and dry'.
Sep 22, 2022
I saw Dr Miller with what I thought was a chronic and minor condition. Within days of my first visit with Dr Miller she performed a biopsy which indicated cancer cells in my throat. Since then I've been impressed with the way she has been efficient, clear and thoughtful in helping me plan for treatment.

Not very friendly.
Aug 18, 2022
This doctor showed no concern for my condition. She was cold as ice, no "bedside manner" at all.

Provider seemed irritated when entering exam room. She didn't listen well to my concerns or my health issues, documented perfect hearing after I just completed test that showed hearing loss of high and low tones with Audiology right there. She told me my primary care physician couldn't diagnose a middle ear infection and I probably never had one all [...] and that adults don't get ear infections without a coexisting sinus infection. This was after I explained my 4 months battle with a Sinus infection with Pseudomonas right prior and my Immunodeficiency of the B lymphocytes. She brushed off my temporal lobe CT findings and told me almost everyone has SCDS, and writes I was asymptomatic after I let her know about my ear pain, dizziness, nausea, and hearing loss. She sent me away saying it was my TMJ, which may be part of my issue but definitely not the whole issue. Even if she ends up being right about my jaw, she was dismissive and rude so it was hard to have confidence in her abilities. I'll seek out a second opinion if I need additional help with my ears. All others I encountered at the office that day were wonderful and helpful.

Provider and her resident did not give compassionate care. [...] When the provider joined, I asked specific questions. While I'm not a doctor, I'm pretty good at understanding things if they explained to me. I do not claim to know what is in the providers head but it just did not seem like she was interested in answering my questions. I am not the expert in otolaryngology or allergy treatment. This is why I need explaining and information from her. [...] I felt like The provider and her resident were not interested in really answering my questions. They were interested in assessing me and getting me out of there. [...]

This was my first visit with this doctor and my first ever visit to an ENT specialist. From the moment she came in the room her demeanor was flat, cold and disinterested. She was not friendly or warm (or even smiled) in the least. [...] She acted like this was so routine she didn't want to even be there. She sat down and asked me to tell her about why I was there [...] She was looking at me while I was telling her, but then half way through she closed her eyes and kept them closed while I finished. I've never had a doctor do that. Definitely gives off an impression that she is completely disinterested in me. Since it was my first time to an ENT I didn't know what to expect. She sometimes would preface/explain things she would do before she did them like, "I'm going to look in your ears, I'm going to look up your nose", etc - but other times she did not. Like when she put some nasal spray in my nostrils, she told me basically while she was doing it, instead of a little bit before, and she didn't mention what it was for. I assumed it was water/saline. Apparently it was to numb my nasal area for putting the scope up there next, which I found out about 5 min or so AFTER she was done with the lighted scope when I started to feel that area and the roof of my mouth go numb and asked if that what the nasal spray was for, which only then did she confirm. When I mentioned that would have been nice to know beforehand, she had no reply or visible reaction to that statement. Luckily the scope didn't cause me any discomfort since the numbing spray hadn't even kicked in yet when they were doing the scope (even a dentist won't start a procedure until they ask you and make sure you can feel the numbing from the novocaine). Also, during the exam whenever she wanted me to face her directly so she could look at my nasal area she would just suddenly grab my head and force it toward her. She did this several times and I would have much preferred that she just ask me to turn my head toward her, which is a very easy thing to do and more respectful to the patient. Again I've never had any doctor just grab any part of me and force it toward them. After the exam she gave the bare minimum in explanation of my condition and then just stopped talking - I guess waiting for me to ask questions. I did ask a few and she answered them very succinctly. She was not engaging at all and seemed like she'd rather be anywhere else but there. If I need to see an ENT again I will definitely be going somewhere else.
