Dr. Zayas-Colon obtained her medical degree at the University Of Puerto Rico School Of Medicine, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She completed her Transitional Year Internship at San Juan City Hospital, in San Juan Puerto Rico. She then went on to complete residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Louisiana State University Medical Center, in New Orleans LA, one of the busiest Trauma Centers in the country. She completed a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Radiology at the University Of Rochester Medical Center and she holds a life time certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology.

As a specialist in Musculoskeletal Imaging, Dr. Zayas works closely with fellow clinicians to optimize treatment for their acute trauma patients as well as in the diagnosis and follow up of orthopaedic and rheumatologic conditions.
