Celeste Song, MD, MS is Associate Program Director at the University of Rochester Family Medicine Residency. She practices at Highland Family Medicine, one of the two continuity sites for the residency. She attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, followed by residency at the Tufts Family Medicine Residency at Cambridge Health Alliance, where she developed her interests in evidence-based medicine and medical education. After residency, she returned to Rochester, NY, for a Faculty Development Fellowship through the University of Rochester Department of Family Medicine, and a Master of Science in Health Professions Education through the University’s Warner School of Education. She coordinates outpatient precepting, leads the evidence-based medicine curriculum, and leads the medical education area of concentration for the residency. Nationally, she is a member of the American Board of Family Medicine National Journal Club Committee. On a personal level, she enjoys vegetable/flower gardening, cooking, reading, biking, yoga, and spending time with family: husband, son, cat Cricket, and miniature dachshund Beowulf.

My Primary doctor keeps in communication. She handles my anxiety before the medical procedure professionally. Dr. Song is the best doctor I ever had. She kept me informed of the test result

Very pleased with the transition from Dr Pruett to Dr Song. Having a Dr leave and starting with someone new is hard and change is not a big thing for me especially when I started a new PCP the same time as a new care mgr as well as a new psychiatrist and new therapist but all worked out great!

I love my provided Dr. C. Song. She really care. She provided me with the proper medications on time to prevent from being constant in the hospital. All the prescriptions she has given me help manage my symptoms very well .
