Elizabeth Rightmier, PharmD, BCPS, is the Manager of Quality and Accreditation for the Specialty Pharmacy. She practiced as a clinical pharmacy specialist in internal medicine and infectious diseases at URMC, Highland Hospital, for three years before transitioning to the Specialty Pharmacy as a clinical pharmacy specialist on the multiple sclerosis team for six years. She serves as chair of the Specialty Pharmacy Quality Management Committee and as a member on the Resident Advisory Committee, UR Medicine Pharmacy Equity and Inclusion Committee, and American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners Accreditation and Compliance Special Advisory Group. She began her current position in 2020 and serves as preceptor to PGY1 Community and PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Leadership and Administration residents for rotations and research projects with a focus in quality improvement.
