About Me
Dr. Nguyen is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Neurology and Pediatrics at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She has joint appointments in the Divisions of Child Neurology and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
Dr. Nguyen's clinical interests are in caring for children with neurodevelopmental disabilities such as cerebral palsy, autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, Rett syndrome, and spina bifida. Her research interests include exploring the differences in sleep in children with autism spectrum disorder, care coordination for behavioral, learning, and mental health comorbidities for children with epilepsy, and quality improvement projects.
Dr. Nguyen is active in medical education at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry. She serves as the Associate Program Director of the Child Neurology Residency. She also serves as a Patient Safety and Quality Improvement Leader.
