Susan Hulse has been a physician assistant in the field of HIV medicine since 1996. She started at Albany Medical College and worked in California at University of California, Davis where she coordinated the NIH AIDS Clinical Trial Unit.

Susan Hulse has been a physician assistant in the field of HIV medicine since 1996. She started at Albany Medical College and worked in California at University of California, Davis where she coordinated the NIH AIDS Clinical Trial Unit.

Since 2004, she has worked with the University of Rochester’s AIDS Treatment Center as a physician assistant. Susan has a special interest in women with HIV and prevention of maternal-fetal HIV transmission.

In 2021 she returned to clinical research and took over as the site coordinator for the University of Rochester's NIH AIDS Clinical Trial Unit.
