Dr. Pacos specializes in cardiac catheterization, echocardiography studies, including exercise and pharmacological stress testing, transesophageal echo, vascular ultrasound, and nuclear cardiology. He cares for inpatients and outpatients at Highland and see patients in the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Pacos also will provide angiograms at Strong and echocardiograms, nuclear stress tests and vascular ultrasounds at Highland Cardiology. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease.

We drive 2 hours from home to see Dr. Pacos. He made such a difference in the function of my wife's heart and he really cares.

Dr. Pacos is a world-class cardiologist in a league of his own. He is unrivaled. I tell all of our friends that if they are going to other doctors, they may not know what the higher level of care looks like because possibly they may not have experienced it. Then I describe Dr. Pacos to them. When Dr. Pacos oversees the care of his patients, it is not just an office visit. You can really see, actually see him think as he processes new information and analyzes the way all the details fit together to impact negatively or positively. He Is as watchful and alert at every visit as If It were the first visit. Also, Dr. Pacos never leaves a question without an answer that is described In a way that Includes all the explanations, why a certain course of action is Important, and often quotes the research to back it up. Dr. Pacos can roll information right off the tip of his tongue in the middle of a conversation. Dr. Pacos created a plan a few years ago that created actual remodeling changes in my heart that improved my heart function in a big way. Dr. Pacos is much more - much much more than a look at blood test numbers, listen to your chest, and see you next year. He is worth a 2-hour drive and he always has been worth it. What value could a person put on improving heart function the way he makes a difference?
