Dr. Liebman has been with the Nephrology Division since 2004. He has an active general nephrology practice, with a particular interest in disorders of serum sodium, peritoneal dialysis and kidney problems in patients with cancer. He firmly believes that patient education is a key component of the doctor-patient relationship, and that it leads to better care. Dr. Liebman is also very involved in medical education, acting as the nephrology fellowship program director from 2016 - 2022, as well as teaching residents and students at all levels of training.
