Specializing in neuroradiology and musculoskeletal magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Attended medical school at the University of Buffalo and was chief radiology resident for 3 years. During residency, published an article on carotid angioplasty and stent placement in the journal Neurosurgical Focus. Completed Advanced Magnetic Resonance Imaging Fellowship in 2008 at University Medical Imaging, the outpatient imaging facility of the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Certified by the American Board of Radiology, with designation as an authorized user of radiopharmaceuticals. Also, a member of the American College of Radiology, the American Roentgen Ray Society, and the Radiologic Society of North America.

Certified Magnetic Resonance Medical Director (MRMD), American Board of Magnetic Resonance Safety in 2015. American Heart Association CPR for the Professional Rescuer in 2015.
