Dr. Kheyfits is certified by the American Board of Radiology. His medical degree is from Upstate Medical University. He was fellowship-trained at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York, NY, one of the nation's leading orthopaedic centers. He completed his residency at Beth Israel Medical Center, also in New York City, and interned at St. Joseph's Hospital Health Center in Syracuse, NY.

A specialist in Musculoskeletal Imaging, Dr. Kheyfits works closely with orthopaedic surgeons to optimize treatment for their patients. He is a strong proponent of using the imaging sciences as a preventive tool. He often uses his radiological skill to identify meniscus tears, which helps to prevent the development of arthritis or the need for joint replacement surgery later on. "There is nothing like knowing that we are improving patient's lives and medical outcomes and that we are getting better at it every day."
