I was very pleased with my appointment with Dr. Piquion-Joseph. I have had a very hard time finding a obgyn who will listen to me, validate my feelings, and actually help me. I went Into the appointment with low expectations just Incase I was disappointed again. I am happyto say that this was not the case! I will be keeping Dr. Piquion-Joseph as my ongyn.

Due to the great notes taken by the nurse, the doctor was well informed of my concerns and she did an excellent job at discussing with me my best options. She was very easy to talk to which made it easier to discuss what my concerns were and to work out a plan.

Our visit on this day was with Dr. Piquion-Joseph and I was very thankful. [...] has had nothing but problems since she had the IUD placed on [...], missed significant time from school, had cramping and bleeding, numerous times spent in the office, ultrasound to make sure it was placed properly, placed on additional BCP that only made her feel awful. This provider indicated she would not have put in the IUD that was placed due to the size of it compared to the size of a teenage uterus so she suggested removing it and having my daughter's body reset for a few months. Amazingly, the cramping and bleeding stopped and I'm thankful for her help. My preference would be to continue seeing this provider.
