About Me

Dr. Apeksha Chaturvedi obtained her primary medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India in 1999. She then went on to pursue a Diagnostic Radiology residency, also at SMS Medical College and Attached Group of Hospitals, Jaipur India, at the end of which she earned an MD degree...
Dr. Apeksha Chaturvedi obtained her primary medical degree (MBBS) at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India in 1999. She then went on to pursue a Diagnostic Radiology residency, also at SMS Medical College and Attached Group of Hospitals, Jaipur India, at the end of which she earned an MD degree (Doctor of Medicine) in 2002. Subsequent to completing her residency, she was in private practice for a few years in India, when her fondness for academic Radiology brought her to the United States to pursue subspecialty training.
Dr. Chaturvedi joined the University of Washington, Seattle as Acting Instructor and Senior Fellow in Cardiac Radiology in 2007. Subsequently, she completed two additional fellowships at the University of Washington, one in Body and Abdominal Radiology (2008-2009) and another in Pediatric Radiology (2009-2010). She stayed on staff at Seattle Children's Hospital for 18 months after completing her fellowship; 6 months as Senior fellow and the subsequent one year with attending privileges.
She left Seattle in December of 2011, to join as Assistant Professor in the Pediatric Radiology Division of Strong Memorial and Golisano Children's Hospital, Rochester, NY in January 2012, where she continues in this capacity to this day.
Dr. Chaturvedi is an active member of various Radiological societies and has published in several peer-reviewed journals.
