About Me

Dr. Nina Piazza earned a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College, where she graduated cum laude and with honors. Dr. Nina Piazza earned a Bachelor’s degree from Williams College, where she graduated cum laude and with honors. After spending a year teaching elementary school in rural China with the Yongfeng Teaching Fellowship, she attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, where she obtained her MD degree in 2017. She completed internship and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Wisconsin Madison, where she served as chief resident.

Dr. Piazza is Board Certified in Family Medicine and joined the faculty of the Department of Family Medicine in 2020. She practices full spectrum care at Brown Square Health Center, a part of Jordan Health, a federally qualified community health center. She values caring for a diverse group of patients and is passionate about promoting health equity. She has specific interests in reproductive health, addiction medicine, and gender affirming care and hormone therapy.

In addition to her own Family Medicine practice, Dr. Piazza teaches and supervises family medicine residents across settings, including caring for hospitalized adults at Highland Hospital. She also values her role teaching and mentoring medical students with the Family Medicine Interest Group, as well as during their time spent on family medicine clinical rotations.
