Kenneth Dickerson, OD, performs pre- and post-operative LASIK care at the Flaum Eye institute. He also has expertise in the diagnosis and co-management of cataracts with a special emphasis on premium lens implants. He is a graduate of the State University of New York College at Geneseo and completed a doctorate of optometry at The New England College of Optometry. He has been in practice as a licensed optometrist since 2006, joining the Flaum Eye Institute in 2013. He is a member of the American Optometric Society and The New York State Optometric Society including the Rochester, New York chapter.

I was extremely impressed with the appointment as a whole. The dr provided education that geared towards me NOT having the surgery I was there for based on his worry I may not be happy for various reasons and I loved that. It was very sincere. He clearly wants to treat people the best he can rather than just another number. I am 49 years old and was prescribed my first pair of glasses as a pre-teen and this is the first time I've felt listened to at an eye appointment. I appreciate his honesty and care.
