Dr. Morrison holds multiple leadership positions within the University of Rochester, including Interim Chief of the Division of Plastic Surgery, Program Director of the Plastic Surgery residency program, and Director of the multidisciplinary Cleft and Craniofacial Center at Golisano Children's Hospital.

The Cleft and Craniofacial program has developed regional and national attention for excellent clinical outcomes and research, as well as a reputation for individualized care and a family focus.

Dr. Morrison brings expertise in all aspects of craniomaxillofacial surgery, including; cleft lip and palate, craniosynostosis and other cranial anomalies, complex facial trauma, as well as comprehensive pediatric plastic surgery. He also is a member of the gender-affirming surgery program with a busy practice in gender-affirming facial surgery.

Dr. Morrison grew up in Kentucky, graduating first in his class and summa cum laude from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He then completed a combined residency program in general surgery and plastic surgery at Brown University in Providence, RI. Following completion of his plastic surgery education, Dr. Morrison elected to pursue additional training to gain further expertise in craniomaxillofacial surgery, comprehensive cleft surgery, and pediatric plastic surgery. He then joined the Seattle Children's Hospital/University of Washington Harborview Medical Center Cleft and Craniofacial Team for a clinical fellowship and faculty appointment as clinical instructor in plastic surgery, gaining comfort in treating even the most complex of patients.

He is a proud husband and father to five, who keep him on his toes and smiling.
