Michelle Phillips, PharmD, BCOP, earned her doctorate of pharmacy from St. John Fisher College Wegmans School of Pharmacy. She completed her PGY1 Community Residency training at Strong Memorial Hospital.

Since 2015, she has practiced as a clinical oncology pharmacy specialist with the UR Specialty Pharmacy. Her practice areas are gastrointestinal and neuro-oncology in the Wilmot Cancer Institute. Prior to that, she spent time as a community pharmacist in a large retail chain. She is currently the director of the UR Medicine Scholars Program for fourth year pharmacy students from St. John Fisher College. Her interests include patient education, optimizing medication therapy, medication deprescribing, and side effect management.
