I am passionate about improving quality of life for those facing serious illness and everything that comes with it - decision making, symptoms like pain, nausea and constipation, and often grief that can come along with all of this. My patients can be actively going though very aggressive treatments, shifting to a more quality of life focus (such as hospice), or somewhere along the spectrum.

I went to medical school in Washington state but grew up nearby in Geneseo, NY on a small farm, and returned for training at University of Rochester in 2017. I am board certified in Internal Medicine and Hospice and Palliative medicine. I enjoy learning from patients and families, and doing my best to teach other clinicians the lessons I learn.
