Have other primary and specialty care outpatient clinics model their compassion and urgency to have the patient seen in a timely manner after North Ponds Family Medicine. It is truly one of the best offices I have visited throughout URMC's network of care.

Dr. Hursey, Dr. Hartmann, and Kelsey Hynes have all been wonderful throughout my maternal care. Also, Gloria at the checkout desk has been so kind and was truly one of the nicest receptionists that I have worked with. All of the nurses who have checked me in at this practice have also been so compassionate and kind.

The appointments are cold and impersonal. Very robotic. Seems like I am putting the doctor out by just being there. So the one thing would be to actually care about the patient.

Dr. Hursey is wonderful, kind, caring. I had a situation of very high stress where I could not move my head from left to right or up and down and my back was just a stiff as it could be. I could not believe this marvelous doctor massaged my back. Neck and legs to a point where I was no longer in pain. She gave me exercises that I am still doing. I am so grateful for Dr. Hursey. I hope she plans to stay at North ponds unless of course she gets a Monumental promotion. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to praise this wonderful doctor.

I was so stressed out that my muscles were tight from the top of my head all the way do my waist. Dr. Hursey massaged all my stiff muscles and gave me exercises to keep my muscles loose especially during stressful situations. The headache is gone. I can turn my head now shoulder to shoulder; much more than 1" left/right. I was afraid to drive. I knew I needed help. Dr. Hursey was my only call; not to a chiropractor. Thanks for Dr. Hursey & North Ponds :)

I really wanted to know if and what kind of arthritis I have throughout my body. All my joints hurt. I was told I had osteoarthritis in one of my toes 14 years ago. I wanted to see if it was spreading my lower back has a lot of pain. My right shoulder started hurting a year ago. It stopped and got bad again and then it's slowly getting better but I still don't know what's wrong with it. There's a lot of this that I wanted taken care of and it was pretty much discouraged.

The provider should listen a little more of the patients concerns about their health. And read notes from patient. I did not like her approach. But I did know she was concern about one health issue.I saw no reason for her to say in her after visit notes that she spent 40 minutes with me.

I did not understand the reason for some tests that were determined I should take. I do not agree with the doctors assessment of the results because my previous doctor never considered these results a problem even though they were more out of line In the past. I do not agree AT ALL that I should visit the specialist the doctor wants me to see based on results of the tests just performed that are BETTER than they used to be, but were not then considered a problem. A visit to this specialist I consider to be alarming, and I have no good reason or understanding why I should go there.

I feel that the provider did not listen to what I had to say and she lacked empathy. She was very quick to offer to write me a prescription even though I continually told her that I was looking to avoid oral prescriptions & I preferred topical or homeopathic solutions.
