I had hoped for longer and private time with the surgeon. [...] I couldn't tell, in with her, without asking me which I considered something of an imposition. My husband already was with me, so distractions. It was after 3PM, and she seemed in a hurry to get in and get out, and provided brief explanations when I asked questions [...] I was left feeling like I didn't matter very much, now that she had cut out what needed to be got out of my body.

Mistakes can be made when things are being rushed. I don't think that Dr. Gooch is a bad provider, I just felt that she may have been pressed for time on [...] which limited me to questions that I needed answers to. My mind was all over the place and I was also distracted by the additional staff member that came into the room with Dr. Gooch without being properly introduced. He was nice but I wasn't expecting someone else to come in with her at that time. I had to ask who he was.
