Dr. Gilman went to medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY, completed a Masters in Public Health at Syracuse University, and attended OB/GYN residency at the University of Rochester. She attended Cornell University for undergraduate education in Human Biology, Health, and Society.

Philosophy
Dr. Gilman is passionate about providing trauma-informed, evidence-based care to people of all genders and sexualities to promote health equity and healthy communities.

Special Interests
Dr. Gilman is particularly interested in community health, LGBTQIA+ healthcare, health informatics and technology, and medical education. Dr. Gilman is one of the organizers of the Food Pantry at Community OBGYN.

Little confrontational at first, [...] Current issues are pain, lower pelvic pressure, unable to have sex, excruciating pain with menstruation, and an unresolved hemorrhaging atypical cyst on my left ovary none of which required his recommendations. Eventually she realized I have infact been through more than enough treatments and procedures for GYN issues, 35 years! And finally agreed to hysterectomy which is in fact the only procedure that will offer relief for my issues.
