Dr. Brooks earned her A.B. at Harvard University and pursued a Master’s in Public Health at Dartmouth Medical School prior to medical school. She then earned both her medical degree and completed residency training in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Brooks went on to pursue dual fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology and Thyroid and Parathyroid Surgery at Boston Children’s Hospital and Massachusetts Eye and Ear / Harvard Medical School, respectively. She has an interest in both graduate and undergraduate medical education and serves as a member of the medical school admissions committee here at the University of Rochester.

With designations in the Pediatric Otolaryngology and Endocrine Surgery divisions at UR Medicine, Dr. Brooks’ practice will merge her subspecialties, with a focus in high volume thyroid surgery for adults and children as well as management of a broad range of pediatric ear, nose and throat conditions. She aims to provide evidence-based, collaborative, and compassionate care to her patients and families. She is board certified in Otolaryngology- Head & Neck Surgery and earned her certification for Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.
