Dr. Yurong Gao, Director of the Multiphoton Shared Resource Laboratory, won a poster award at the 2019 ABRF conference. Her abstract was entitled K-means Spectral Unmixing for Multi-channel Imaging and Image Analysis Platform at a Core Facility. This award provided her the opportunity to do a presentation to a broad audience at the end of the conference.

Jacquelyn Lillis, Bioinformatician at the Genomics Research Center and Center for Pediatric Biomedical Research at the University of Rochester, won the Staff Poster Award at the Translational Genomics & Proteomics Un-Meeting, sponsored by the UNYTE Translational Science Network (UNYTE) at the University of Rochester Clinical & Translational Sciences Institute (UR CTSI), University of Rochester Medical Center, on March 13, 2019, for the poster "Single-cell transcriptome analysis of embryonic hematopoietic progenitor cells reveals erythro-myeloid lineage heterogeneity."

The UNYTE Translational Research Network, a project of the CTSI, is a consortium of 19 biomedical and academic research centers performing clinical and translational research in the Upstate New York and surrounding regions. This spring's Un-Meeting brought together researchers from across UNYTE institutions to discuss and develop new, innovative and effective ideas for genomics and proteomics translational research.
