DCM Specific Training

DCM provides instruction in biomethodology of all laboratory animal species used at the University. This includes animal handling, blood and other specimen collection, injection techniques, identification methods, anesthesia, euthanasia and surgical techniques. The DCM veterinary staff is available to meet with you on an individual basis or in small lab groups. Mini courses are also offered by UCAR for new staff.  For medical center staff, your first training session is free!
