Mission Statement

The mission of the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is to improve outcomes for patients having surgery and invasive procedures through excellence in anesthetic care, perioperative medicine, pain management and critical care; by providing outstanding education that equips all learners with the tools they need to care for patients in current and future systems; and by success in research that transforms patient care for the future.
