Telephone Consultations for Healthcare Providers
The Human Lactation Study Center is part of the Division of Neonatology and is a valuable resource for our physicians. If your physician has questions/concerns regarding what medications can be taken during breastfeeding or general questions regarding difficulties with breastfeeding, he or she may contact our center. The center maintains a database of drugs in lactation, medical information, and programs around breastfeeding.
Healthcare professionals may call (585) 275-0088 for information and consultation on special issues.
