Children and adolescents are special in many ways, some of which are the unique presentations that characterize dermatologic conditions in the pediatric age group. At URMC Pediatric Dermatology, we aim to provide our pediatric patients, between birth and 18 years of age, that have skin, hair, and nail conditions with the specialized care they deserve in a patient- and family-friendly environment.

We also specialize in caring for some adults with childhood skin conditions, such as vascular anomalies and genetic skin conditions.

Why Your Child Needs a Pediatric Dermatologist

Pediatric dermatologists are dermatologists and/or pediatricians who undergo extra training in pediatric dermatology. They specialize in diagnosing and treating pediatric patients with skin conditions.
