Why Should My Child Have a Pediatrician?
Pediatricians have expertise in the medical care of children. As children grow and develop, its vital that they are seen by a physician who understands their physical, emotional, and psychological needs. At Golisano’s Pediatric Practice, we take pride in being your medical home, coordinating care in multiple disciplines in order to meet all of your child’s needs. By utilizing our collaborative care, we can be a one-stop medical resource for your children.
What to Expect
When you arrive, you will check in with one of our front desk staff members, they will provide you with forms to fill out. Your child’s name will be called, a tech will take your child’s vitals, and you will be placed in a room where a member of your child’s team will provide care and answer any questions you have. If you have any concerns about behavior, mental health, or need resources, your provider will be able to link you to a member of our collaborative team to assist with your needs. If you need any forms for school, daycare, WIC, etc., let us know and we will take care of them for you.
School Based Telemedicine and Video Visits
Video visits are a way for patients to be seen by a provider in the comfort of their own home. Your provider will tell you which types of visits may be done via video.
School Based Telemedicine allows your child to be seen in school for their ADHD & Asthma follow up visits as well as acute visits for illness.
