Before Grace Esposito was born, a congenital diaphragmatic hernia had pushed her heart out of place, leaving little room for her lungs to grow. Statistics said Grace would not survive. Statistics did not account for her fighting spirit or the expertise of the staff at Golisano Children’s Hospital.

Golisano Children’s Hospital is undergoing a transformation that will take the treatment of newborns, infants, and adolescents to new levels of excellence. When its doors open next summer, the expanded and enhanced facilities will provide the region’s children and their families an unparalleled place of healing and it will extend to the outdoors. Beautiful healing gardens will offer places of respite from the busy hospital. One of these is Grace’s Garden.

Grace’s Garden was created by a lead commitment from Grace’s parents and the help of 13WHAM with the hope that others would join them in supporting the new Golisano Children’s Hospital.
