Finger Lakes Lead Summit 2023
Partnering to Reduce Lead Hazards for Rural Families
The Finger Lakes Lead Summit brought together 46 individuals from 27 organizations in Canandaigua on Tuesday September 19, 2023 to partner for increasing protection of rural Finger Lakes families as they deal with lead exposure. Pivital Public Health Partnership and the Finger Lakes Coalition to Stop Lead Poisoning organized the Summit, and the Finger Lakes Children's Environmental Health Center (FLCEHC) provided funding. Pediatrician Sandra Jee, M.D., M.PH. served as emcee and is Director of FLCEHC, which serves 15 counties as part of the NYS Children’s Environmental Health Center Network.
