Improving Patient Care & Safety
Preventing Hospital Acquired Conditions
Our goal is to provide an optimal healing environment. However, even in the best hospitals there are risks that may occur in the course of care. The priority of our Quality Improvement & Safety teams is to support staff and families in working together to reduce the occurrence of hospital acquired conditions.
Benchmarking Our Progress
To benchmark our progress, we collaborate with many organizations, such as:
- Centers for Medicaid & Medicare Services
- New York State Department of Health
- Solutions for Patient Safety
- Vermont Oxford Network
- National Surgical Quality Improvement Program
We do this to monitor and report on key clinical performance initiatives, medical outcomes, and patient satisfaction scores.
