To feel centered and more confident: Set goals for the day, week, and near future. You will be motivated by feeling directed. Define the steps to how these goals will be achieved. This maintains the motivation you generated. Engage. Feeling insecure can cause you to withdraw or delay communication with others, so be proactive with your team or others with whom you mutually depend to achieve results. Talk to a professional counselor/EAP, and feel the relief that comes with sharing stress and processing fears. Track your successes. UR Medicine EAP is brought to you by Well-U, helping eligible individuals to assess issues, and provide short-term counseling and referrals.
