Alumni rolls continue to grow
Graduation saw the departure of four senior residents and a cornea fellow. They were celebrated during a small ceremony limited in attendance to the residents, their families, and faculty because of health and safety protocols. Many staff, friends, and residents were able to view the celebration via a Webcast.
Recently appointed Residency Director Rachel Wozniak, MD, PhD; former Director Ben Hammond, MD; and Department Chair David DiLoreto, MD, PhD, presented the graduates, highlighting their accomplishments and wishing them continued success as they move on to the next chapters of their careers.
Please congratulate the Class of '22
Tina Douglas, MD, is completing a fellowship in oculoplastic surgery at a private practice in San Diego, where she plans to learn how to surf in her spare time.
Alaina Geren, MD, headed to Dallas, where she is completing a cornea fellowship at UT Southwestern.
Tony Kang, MD, said goodbye to Rochester as he traveled to nearby Cleveland where he began a fellowship in medical retina.
