No Work This Weekend 1/29 and 1/30
There will be no exterior construction work this weekend at the site.
During the week, the tower crane will be in operation building the super structure steel and steel workers will be detailing the decking the 8th floor. The fifth floor concrete slab installation is tentatively scheduled for Friday, January 28th starting at 7 a.m. Concrete finishing has the potential to run late into the night, the building wrap should isolate us from any impact to neighbors and patients. Mechanical hangers will be installed on the 7th and 8th floors new decks for future installation of the mechanical piping. The stair risers are being filled with concrete for easier access from floor to floor. Temporary building enclosure is being installed using ZAP wrap on the 6th and 7th floors. New tower 7th floor temporary roofing / vapor barrier will be installed (weather dependent activity).
Typical levels of construction noise and vibrations are expected with all of these activities. For the deep foundation work, any possible vibrations will be monitored by a third party testing agency.
