Research Interests
Developing novel therapies for brain disorders, especially neurodegenerative diseases, with an emphasis on quantitative modeling of disease features in order to target the right individuals with the right treatments..
You might be surprised to know:
My first exposure to clinical trials for brain disorders was doing neuropsychological testing (with paper and pencil) in a study of Huntington disease, as a 1st year medical student, over 40 years ago. A lot has changed, but a surprising amount has not yet.
