The principal focus of this research program is the most common chronic pain syndrome, low back pain. Lumbar spinal stenosis is the index condition for the group’s investigator-initiated research.
The Translational Pain Research Program is directed by Dr. John Markman, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery and Neurology at the University of Rochester Medical Center.
