Message From the Director
Welcome to our Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship website! Our program is uniquely designed so that in three years, our fellows complete two fellowships: an ACGME-accredited DBP fellowship program and the federally funded and Leadership and Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program, supported by the Association of University Centers on Disabilities.
Fellows will gain clinical expertise at the University of Rochester’s Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic, which provides substantial opportunities to work with children whom have a wide array of developmental differences and behavioral needs.
The research experience is just as rewarding. Research in the Department of Pediatrics, URMC, and Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics provides a wide range of opportunities and a foundation for a successful career as an academic physician.
Our division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics is connected to our community, and DBP fellows will also have opportunities to join existing projects and build community partnerships.
I welcome you to explore our pages to learn more about the curriculum, our current fellows, and what makes our program unique. Please feel free to contact me with any questions!
