I drive 1.5 hours each way to see Dr. Salim for care of my aging and sports-injured knees. She listens carefully, examines carefully, explains coherently, discusses options, takes notes. She is cordial, personable, calm and efficient, focused on our visit, never appearing rushed amid the challenges of a busy practice with fluctuating patient needs and circumstances. I rely on Dr. Salim to help me keep my original knees working dependably for life.

Dr. Salim spent over 30 minutes going over my MRI results. She let me start with my questions (which I had many) and she answered each in detail. She then went over what she felt were the most important findings on my MRI. Together we made the decision of the next steps forward. She always makes me feel part of the decision and respects my concerns. Dr. Salim always believes and understand my pain. In both in-person and on the phone, Dr. Salim always answers all of my questions and never makes me feel rushed. She is an example of what a great doctor should be and unfortunately there are not many around like her.

Dr. Salim Is terrific. So easy to feel I'm on a wavelength with her. She listens, asks, palpates, explains, offers options, compares them, partners In decision-making. She even demonstrated potential knock-on gait and hip effects from impaired leg swing due to knee pain/stiffness. She's the reason I drive two hours to Rochester for knee maintenance, versus a half-hour to Syracuse. I'd recommend her without hesitation.
