The doctor's visit and the lead receptionist exhibited professional, personal and pleasant interactions. The hospital staff with whom I received attention were likewise. The nurse performing the ultrasound (Chelsea) had a very pleasant and sympathetic attitude during the procedure.

I'm very bad with names, how ever the nurse who took me in and did the work up was great, explaining everything and Dr. Ashdown is always good at explaining things as we go. The office staff is always polite and helpful.

I love the fact that I can call Dr. Ashdown's office at 8:30 in the morning and get an appointment for 9:30. I have always been able to get in to see HIM (not a PA). He takes wonderful care of my health concerns and addresses them in a timely manner. He has been my Dr. For almost 24 years and I am blessed to have him.

Dr. Ashdown has been very intelligent and caring. He has gotten my febrile blood pressure under the best control possible and has given the best medical care of any physician I ever seen. He has managed to return me to almost normal function after having a right temporal stroke a few years ago. He has collaborated with other physicians I see for specialized care to maintain optimum function for me.

I feel that the provider is not as attentive as he should be. It seems they are more worried about only spending a limited amount of time to discuss one issue and not worried about the well being of the whole person. They do not have the chart in front of them and never ask about any other issues.
