I continue to utilize my background in basic science and clinical research to advance the field of orthopedics. I have authored numerous publications and book chapters on topics related to hand surgery, prosthetics, infection and bone grafts, and I frequently present at the national and international levels. I am the recipient of several prestigious awards and honors, as well as research grants. I hold U.S. Patents on implant modification technologies, as well as novel 3D-printed devices that I designed to address hand conditions.

Remaining heavily involved in research, my newest endeavors include utilization of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning in the interpretation of medical imaging, automated ultrasound evaluation of scar formation on tendons and I am also investigating the mechanisms of infection establishment on biological tissues.

Because I had to [...] to see the doctor my pain had eased. I don't know if the doctors ability to offer more help was limited because I wasn't experiencing debilitating pain at the time? Being in my late [...]s, I was hoping for a better game plan than being told to take ibuprofen and wear a wrist brace for something I've been dealing with since I was 18. I told him I've used those braces before but they really didn't help. It has to constantly come off as I'm a mom of 3 kids and your movement is limited. The doctor basically chocked my constant pain up to overuse but I feel he had one foot out the door almost as soon as he had one foot in. He was never going to take in the whole picture.
