Had he not been so thorough, I would not have ended up with the ultimate diagnosis and treatment I received. And things probably would have escalated to a much more severe point. It would have been very easy to just say "it's a virus. Lots going around right now. Fluids and Tylenol." I appreciate the time and detail he put into my visit

Because of my need to have my leg stretched out on the exam table and the computer and desk on other side, the first part of the visit, providers back was to me. Perhaps he could have turned around a few times. Later, he did completely turn around and talked a little and performed the exam. I was here for Preop clearance and annual physical.

I was out of town when the culture test for strep throat came out positive. I missed Dr. Jacob's call when he called to give me the result and talk about the prescribed medicine. When I called back, it was after the office hour, so I could not reach him. I left a voice mail about my concern about how to receive the prescribed medicine. After talking to my pharmacy, I could receive the prescribed medication, but I could not update this to the doctor. After that, the doctor kept reaching out to me to ensure I got the medication. I was busy traveling, so I missed his calls twice, but he had his staff call me to ensure I was okay. I felt like the doctor was sincerely caring for his patients despite his busy schedule as a doctor! I appreciate his help and care!

Please keep routine care out of acute visits. I came to the office with an acute condition that required rest, relaxation and fluids, but the provider said, "I'm going to order a colonoscopy." This seemed excessive. I would prefer to discuss these more Involved procedures with my primary care physician.

Dr. Anugu called me after hours and her phone call was immensely clarifying and compassionate: she explained what heard me say and what she could rule out over the phone. Jacob Brown's explanation of his diagnosis was very clear because he explained his evidence reasoning for his conclusions and answered my questions.

I was very happy with my acute illness visit with the office PA, Jacob Brown. I was given a same day appt. He took a great deal of time and was very patient listening to my post covid concerns, asked a lot of questions, reviewed my medical history, reviewed his findings with me, ordered an xray (results In MYCHART) and made recommendations that worked for my well being.

Due to weather (rain) and road back ups (accidents/busses/garbage trucks), I arrived late. Staff and Dr were still very courteous and we're also accommodating to let me be seen. BP was initially high (stress/rushing) but it was taken again later and was good. I appreciated the time the doctor afforded me to address my recent labs, questions, re-take my BP, and discuss strengths of introducing a new med.

UNBELIEVABLE!! Called Dr. Bergin's office Monday @ 3:50 p with acute symptoms, received appt 8a next day. Jake Brown PA very promptly assessed my acute abdomen and activated plan including order labs/CT scan. By 10:30a actionable lab results began coming in and CT scan scheduled that same day for 3:40p @ UMI. Received those results by 4:45p and Jake then ordered appropriate treatment. Obtained antibx by 6p. Then Jake called the next day to check on me and current status which showed genuine care and concern for me as a patient.This is the most outstanding timeline of acute abdomen assessment, testing and treatment in the frame of 9 hours. Seamless outpatient treatment that saved a trip to ED and was much more timely overall. Very grateful for the care received and expedited management of an acute and potentially serious new diagnosis. EXCEPTIONAL!! Thank you Jake
