I am a fellowship-trained orthopaedic trauma surgeon specializing in severe injuries and fractures of the arms, legs, hips, and pelvis. I have a special interest in fractures involving joints, nonunions (when bones don't heal), malunions (when bones heal incorrectly), and infections. I also provide post-traumatic musculoskeletal care, including the treatment of arthritis and reconstruction of the hip and pelvis.
I am originally from Massachusetts and in my free time I enjoy following New England sports teams, smoking meats (my brisket is top notch), and visiting breweries.

I have written numerous articles for professional journals and co-authored chapters for orthopaedic textbooks. I have participated in poster and podium presentations to local, national, and international medical and scientific societies. I have strong interests in both clinical and biomechanical research aimed at finding solutions for patients with challenging traumatic injuries to the pelvis, acetabulum, and lower extremity. I am actively involved in research projects such as Transosseous Hemisoleus Flap for Distal Anterior Tibia Coverage. I am particularly interested in functional outcomes measures within orthopaedic trauma.
