Dr. Jones is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Chief of Thoracic and Foregut Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is a graduate of the George Washington University School of Medicine and received her fellowship training in cardiothoracic surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. She is a resident member of the American College of Surgeons, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the Association for Academic Surgery.

Rushed, annoyed, couldn't even focus on the reason there. By the time the doctor got in there it seemed like, Well, you are doing better, have any questions? I have severe anxiety, depression and just going to this appointment was a major step for me to take. Taking off work, getting transportation in that weather, never ate or drank anything since the night before thinking I may need a test done and didn't want to waste a trip up.
