Overview
The new Wilmot Webster Cancer Center will provide multidisciplinary cancer care for patients, including medical oncology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology and other services. The 21,000 square-foot facility, on Hard Road near Route 104, will offer 18 exam rooms as well as infusion and radiation therapy areas. Once the facility opens, Wilmot plans to offer clinical trials from the Webster location.
UR Medicine's Wilmot Cancer Institute provides world-class cancer treatment and care and conducts pivotal research. The goal is to prevent and conquer cancer through innovation in science, patient care, education,and community outreach.
Services
Wilmot Cancer Institute Webster includes features such as:
- Integrative Oncology services, currently available virtually with limited in-person classes, through Wilmot's Pluta Integrative Oncology & Wellness Center.
- Genetics counseling and testing for Wilmot patients and/or family members at Wilmot's Hereditary Cancer Risk Reduction and Screening Program, currently available virtually or in person.
- Blood draw services are also available at UR Medicine’s many other convenient laboratory locations.
- Supportive services including social work and help navigating benefits and financial assistance programs.
