The PA was great ! And the Dr was extremely caring and compassionate explained everything clearly and helped me get a therapist in my area who is knowledgeable in my diagnosis and also is referring me to a neurologist who can help my knee. I'm so grateful

Aug 29, 2024

Both doctor and pa did not address the risks or answers my questions. They lacked basic bedside manner and professionalism. [...] did not seem to have time for my concerns despite being the orthopedic doctor being recommended to me. I am very disappointed and will not be recommending this care to anyone else. Please do better!

Regardless of ongoing chronic & acute pain and immobilization of my knee, I was referred to physical therapy, which is obviously going to be extremely limited, as acknowledged by the doctor, but as Dr Giordano explained, even though I am most likely a good candidate for a cortisone injection, insurance requires me to go to physical therapy, even though I can do very minimal to no exercises because of the pain. [...]. It is a catch-22 and the doctor acknowledged that along with my frustration as I would like to be able to actually do more exercises at physical therapy but will be hindered due to the pain. The doctor was empathetic to my frustration and stated that he will follow up with me in 6 weeks to see how physical therapy is going and try to submit for a cortisone injection at that point if things have not improved. [...] Dr Giordano advised me to contact him via MyChart should the pain get worse and to schedule physical therapy as soon as possible to get the process going.Dr Giordano was very thorough and explained all aspects of the causes of my knee pain to me and took the time to answer my questions fully and with patience.

There aren't enough words I can say on how great Dr. G is as well as his PA Dan. They sit down with you and explain everything so you can understand and they go above and beyond when I need to visit. I live about 3 1/2 hours away from the office and Dr. G will make sure to accommodate as much as possible in that visit due to the long travel. I would rather travel the 3 1/2 hours to Rochester to get the exceptional care that I do than see a provider that is closer to my home. I recommend this office to anyone and everyone and can't say enough nice things about them. When they see I am struggling after a difficult hip surgery and need help, they form a game plan to help you get back on your feet! Very caring and compassionate providers.

Dr G was recommended by a family member that also sees him for her hip injury and we really wished we would of seen Dr G first instead of going to a provider in Albany that never really had my best interest at heart. Dr G explained everything to my husband and I and he even made it very convenient for my next visit by having scans done first then to see him and his partner after the scans being we live 3 hours away. Not many providers do this and it was great that he kept this in mind.
