Dr. Mirabelli is always very thorough in his questioning and consideration of my responses. On this visit, after trying several times prior over the course of a couple of years, both of us have come to realize that the hyaluronic gel injections were not effective in my case, but the cortisone injections are.

Dr. Mirabelli does not have a warm personality. He is very clinical and seems like he is in a hurry to get through the appointment. I shared with him an issue another care provider discovered, seemingly related to the issue I was seeing him for, and he dismissed it, never commenting on it nor checking it.

I go three times a year for my cortisone shot In my right knee, and I am treated well by all people. In this appointment I had just suffered a "Seatbelt contusion" from a car accident, and I showed it to Dr. Mirabelli, and he spent time explaining what that was all about. It was very nice of him to take that time with me.

I feel that Dr. Mirabelli and Dr. Chu, the assisting resident, we're very thorough in explaining the possible causes and remedies of the bursitis in my elbow.
