Dr Dennis has been wonderful to me and she is very knowledgeable about palliative care which is what I wanted, both for myself, and because I have a sister with stage 4 metastatic cancer. I also have a genetic mutation and a history of breast cancer myself. So she's absolutely the best person I could have ever asked for to be my PCP

The main reason that I like Dr. Carly Dennis is that she's not only an internal medicine practitioner but she also is a palliative care specialist, trained with Tim Quill, MD who I knew [...]. She is very aware of the issues with my sister who has end stage breast cancer, and is incredibly supportive of me as I deal with all of that.

First thing she set you at ease. Then go into the reason you are there. Check your blood pressure If it was high when the nurse took the reading. She set you at ease, This is important to me. Then I can freely go into thing I may not have talked about.
