I provide individualized care to every patient, tailoring treatment to my patients’ specific needs. I work with my patients to optimize function, eliminate pain, and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. I pride myself on collaborating with other physicians on complex cases to achieve optimal results for my patients.

I am a board certified and fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in orthopaedic sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery (minimally invasive surgery) of the shoulder and knee, as well as shoulder reconstruction and replacement. I am extensively trained in sports related knee injuries including ACL and ligament tears, meniscal injuries, and cartilage restoration procedures. I am a strong believer and advocate for meniscus repair, when possible, to improve the longevity and health of patient’s knees. I have specialized training and technical expertise in traumatic and degrative shoulder conditions, including shoulder dislocations/instability, rotator cuff tears, and treatment of shoulder arthritis.

I treat a full spectrum of musculoskeletal injuries in athletes of all ages with a special interest in meniscal and cartilage repair/restoration and pediatric athletes. I have post graduate/fellowship experience and connections with pediatric sports medicine programs around the country including spending time at Boston Children’s, learning surgical techniques and treatment algorithms to provide the best possible care for our pediatric patients.
