URMC / Pharmacy / Education & Training / Outpatient Pharmacy Internship Program
Outpatient Pharmacy Internship Program
We are proud to offer a pharmacy internship at an outpatient pharmacy located within an academic medical center. Located in the main lobby of Strong Memorial Hospital, we serve patients of Strong Memorial Hospital, Wilmot Cancer Center, Golisano’s Children Hospital and more. The goal of our internship program is to fully immerse students in our daily workflows in order to expose them to a wide variety of pharmacy experiences. Interns will develop their clinical and counseling skills while interacting with a diverse patient population. Additionally, our interns will be challenged to make independent decisions to prepare them as leaders in their future pharmacy career.
