How to Apply
New applicants and internal employees are required to complete an online application. Click the Apply Online button below to find out more about NP/PA job opportunities at Strong Memorial Hospital and Golisano Children’s Hospital at Strong as well as other open nursing positions.
For External Candidates
- On the Workday Job Listing Page, enter the Job Title you want to search for in the search bar and hit enter
- Select the Job you are interested in applying to
- Click the Apply button in the top menu bar
- Select either Autofill with Resume, Apply Manually or Use My Last Application
- You will be prompted to sign in with an email address and password, if you've previously applied for a job with the University of Rochester through Workday. If you have, skip to step 7. If you haven't, you'll need to create on by clicking Create Account under the sign in button.
- Fill in the email address and password fields, and check the consent box and then click Create Account. You will then be sent an email to verify your account. Once you receive the email, click the link to verify your account and it will bring you back to the sign in page. Sign in using your email and the password for the account you just created and click Sign In.
- There are three different ways to fill out your application:
- If you selected Autofill the application with a resume, drag and drop or select your resume file, verify your information, fill in all required fields and click save and continue and follow the steps through the application process.
- If you selected Apply Manually, fill in all required fields, click save and continue and follow the steps through the application process.
- If you selected Use My Last Application, verify all fields are up to date, fill in all required fields, click save and continue and follow the steps through the application process.
- Before you submit your application Review and confirm that all the information is correct before submitting
- Once complete, click the Submit Button to submit your application
- You can view submitted application under My Applications under the Candidate Home dashboard
For Internal Candidates
- Login to Workday using your URMC credentials
- From the Workday homepage, select Menu in the upper left hand corner
- Select Job Hub
- Optionally, expand the navigation page but selecting the arrow and vertical bar icon
- In the Jobs Hub navigation pane, select Browse Jobs
- Optionally, search for jobs by title or apply filters such as Primary Location, Hiring Manager, Job Family, Job Profile and Time Type
- Select the flashcard or click View Job to see more details about the job you're interested in
- To apply, click the Apply button
- Add your information to the Expereince, Education, Certifications and Languages sections that apply to your position
- Drag and drop or select your Resume/Cover Letter file
- Once you've completed the application, click the Submit button. Optionally, you can click Save for Later to complete and submit this application later.
